Graduate and Vacation Programs
When recruiting for these positions we look for talented and motivated graduate mining engineers.
Underpinning the growth and development of each graduate is a structured program consisting of four stages.
- Practical experience: up to 2 years of training and practical experience in underground mining methods. The mining methods include service work, truck driving, bogger operation, charge-up, ground support installation, and drilling.
- Site management: at least 1 year as a Junior Project Engineer. This stage may include estimating/tendering experience.
- Supervisor role: at least six months as an Underground Shift Supervisor.
- Management role: at least 1 year as a Junior Project Foreman or a Project Engineer.
