Graduate & Vacation Programs

Graduate opportunities

We are looking for talented and motivated graduate mining engineers.

Underpinning the growth and development of each graduate is a structured program consisting of four stages.

  1. Practical experience: up to 2 years of training and practical experience in underground mining methods. The mining methods include service work, truck driving, bogger operation, charge-up, ground support installation, and drilling.
  2. Site management: at least 1 year as a Junior Project Engineer. This stage may include estimating/tendering experience.
  3. Supervisor role:  at least six months as an Underground Shift Supervisor.
  4. Management role: at least 1 year as a Junior Project Foreman or a Project Engineer.

  • Graduate Program: applications are accepted all year.
  • Vacation Program: applications are open from August to November each year.
