Apprentices are rotated through various mine sites, learning valuable hands on experience with mining professionals.
Byrnecut assists with the provision of a registered training organisation (RTO) who will deliver off the job training and assessments.
This combined with on the job training will develop the underpinning knowledge and skills required for conducting service, repair, overhaul and fault finding in the specific trade.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a Nationally Recognised Qualification Certificate III in the specific trade will be issued.
Desired Attributes
- Have successfully completed Year 11
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Have a current 'C' class drivers license
- Have completed or have partial completion of a pre-apprenticeship is highly advantageous, but not essential

Successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
