The central purpose and role of the Byrnecut Group is defined as:
The Byrnecut Group engages in mechanical underground mine feasibility, mine development and mine production. This includes shaft sinking, shotcreting and raisedrilling. It also includes the provision of high quality equipment rebuilds and maintenance and electrical engineering for the mining industry. Principal customers include first world mine owners across the globe.
