An excellent opportunity exists for a Planning Engineer who possesses the vision to creatively challenge established ideas. The role offers you a long-term opportunity to join an established company with multiple operations throughout Australia and internationally.
In this position you would be expected to perform a broad range of tasks as per client requirements. Your duties will extend all facets of Mine Engineering within reasonable expectations of your skills and experience. This will include but not be limited to:
- Project Management
- Reserve Calculations
- Staff recruitment
- Drill and Blast optimization
- Preparation of contracts
- Ventilation modeling
- Feasibility studies
- Mine services including backfill
- Mine planning and optimization
- Business improvements
- Mine development and stope
- Software and system implementation
- Long and short term scheduling
- Short term engineering contracts
- Projects
- Mine economics including budgets and forecasts
- Software and Engineering training
