Byrnecut Mining offers Apprenticeships for the following trades:
- Plant Mechanic
- Auto-electrician
- Electrician
Benefits at Byrnecut
Byrnecut assists its first year apprentices with the purchase of a job specific tool box.
Apprentices are rotated through various mine sites, learning valuable hands on experience with mining professionals.
Byrnecut assists with the provision of a registered training organisation (RTO) who will deliver off the job training and assessments.
This combined with on the job training will develop the underpinning knowledge and skills required for conducting service, repair, overhaul and fault finding in the specific trade.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship a Nationally Recognised Qualification Certificate III in the specific trade will be issued.
